In this newsletter, you’ll find updates on our ongoing initiatives and upcoming events. Currently, we are focused on our fundraising efforts, aiming to raise $120,000 to fund translational research in endometrial and uterine cancer. 

Additionally, we are proud to announce that several of our patient advocates are slated to participate as consumer reviewers for the Peer Review Cancer Research Panel of the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP). This opportunity not only supports their professional development but also ensures patient perspectives are integral to grant decision-making.

Moreover, we continue to expand our network of scientific advisors, comprising experts from diverse institutions specializing in gynecologic oncology. This expansion will enable us to enhance our grant application process and broaden our impact across multiple research institutions.

As our influence grows within the endometrial cancer research community, we anticipate further successes in fundraising, enabling us to offer larger grants that support collaborative studies across institutions. We encourage you to explore the International Gynecologic Cancer Advocacy Network (IGCAN), a global coalition committed to enhancing the care of women with gynecologic cancers. IGCAN works to create and sustain a broad network of organizations and individuals who collaborate to improve the lives of women affected by these cancers worldwide.
