    Corby Arthur - President and Founder

    As President and Founder of the Endometrial Cancer Research Foundation, Corby Arthur brings a deeply personal and extensive background to the role, having been diagnosed with endometrial cancer multiple times since 2015 and actively advocating for uterine cancer patients. Her experience includes managing the SHARE Uterine Cancer Helpline, training volunteers and facilitators for support groups, and creating educational materials, demonstrating a profound commitment to supporting and informing the patient community.

    Additionally, her previous career as a classroom teacher and Gifted and Talented Coordinator, highlights strong leadership, organizational, and creative thinking skills, all invaluable assets for leading a research foundation dedicated to advancing endometrial cancer understanding and treatment.

  • Dana Mathews - Endometrial Cancer Research Foundation

    Dana Mathews - Digital Strategy & Patient Advocacy

    Dana Mathews is a patient advocate, Community Health Worker (CHW), and digital strategy professional focused on improving how individuals navigate gynecologic cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.

    She brings more than a decade of experience in marketing and technology, with a focus on building operational systems and improving organizational workflows. She was part of the core group that helped launch the Endometrial Cancer Research Foundation, contributing hands-on to its formation through brand messaging, operational structure, technology setup, and fundraising and marketing development. She continues to support the marketing, technology, and organization’s systems, documentation, and operational growth.

    Her advocacy is informed by her experience with a 2023 diagnosis of stage 3C endometrial carcinosarcoma and a BRCA1 mutation, which strengthened her commitment to awareness, patient support, and equity in care. She has volunteered with SHARE Cancer Support for almost two years by co-facilitating the Uterine Cancer Support Group for individuals newly diagnosed or in active treatment, supports the uterine cancer helpline, and also volunteers with the Gilda's Club Kansas City, supporting families through community programming and connection.

  • Naomi - Endometrial Cancer Research Foundation

    Naomi Aziz - Patient Advocacy & Engagement Lead

    Naomi is a stage IV endometrial cancer survivor and patient advocate whose work centers on elevating patient voices and improving access to equitable cancer care. Diagnosed at age 27 after a delayed diagnosis, her lived experience informs her advocacy across research, policy, and community engagement spaces.

    Naomi has spent the last few years as a Patient Advocate with national organizations, including Patients Rising, American Cancer Society, and Cancer Nation, contributing to patient-centered initiatives focused on access, affordability, and representation.

    Naomi currently serves as the Patient Advocacy & Engagement Lead and Board Member at ECRF, where she leads the organization’s patient advocacy program and guides its brand, community engagement strategy, and outreach efforts. She brings over ten years of nonprofit experience supporting fundraising, community engagement, and digital campaigns, and is deeply committed to advancing patient-centered collaboration and meaningful change in cancer care.

    Amy Goldman - Board Member

    Amy S. Goldman has a long history of service and leadership in statewide and national nonprofits, including co-executive director of the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University, Pennsylvania's University Center of Excellence in Disability, chair of the National Council of State Boards of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and currently Past-President of the United States Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication.  She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia.  She is a survivor of uterine (endometrial) cancer.

    Jeanne Pasha - Board Member

    Jeanne T. Pasha brings over three decades of marketing research, business development, and entrepreneurial expertise to her role as a board member. As the Founder and Owner of Worldwide Authentications, she has demonstrated her ability to build successful businesses from the ground up while fostering strong relationships with clients and government agencies. Her extensive background includes serving as Vice President for Marketing Research at Woelfel Research, Inc. for twenty years, where she specialized in data analysis, questionnaire development, and providing strategic insights to drive business decisions.

    She is passionate about supporting endometrial cancer research and awareness because it represents one of the fastest-growing cancers, yet remains severely underfunded and under-researched. Jeanne brings her dedication to excellence, strong communication skills, and proven track record of building meaningful partnerships to support the organization's mission of advancing endometrial cancer research and patient advocacy.

  • Dr. Gottfried Konecny - Endometrial Cancer Research Foundation

    Gottfried Konecny MD - Scientific Advisor

    Gynecologic Medical Oncologist, Professor 

    UCLA Health, University of California, Los Angeles

    Dr. Gottfried Konecny is a Gynecologic Medical Oncologist and Professor at UCLA Health. He is also a Scientific Advisor. He translates research into novel treatment approaches for gynecologic cancers, treating patients based on the genetic alterations of their tumors. Dr. Konecny leads gynecologic oncology in the Department of Medicine at UCLA. He received his medical degree and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Munich, Germany. He conducted postdoctoral studies in Dennis J. Slamon's lab, contributing to the development of breast cancer drugs like trastuzumab and lapatinib. He completed a gynecologic oncology fellowship at Mayo Clinic and was recruited back to UCLA in 2007 to lead a lab for preclinical drug and clinical trial development in gynecologic malignancies.
