Corby Arthur - President and Founder
As President and Founder of the Endometrial Cancer Research Foundation, Corby Arthur brings a deeply personal and extensive background to the role, having been diagnosed with endometrial cancer multiple times since 2015 and actively advocating for uterine cancer patients. Her experience includes managing the SHARE Uterine Cancer Helpline, training volunteers and facilitators for support groups, and creating educational materials, demonstrating a profound commitment to supporting and informing the patient community. Additionally, her previous career as a classroom teacher and GATE Coordinator for the Los Angeles Unified School District highlights strong leadership, organizational, and creative thinking skills, all invaluable assets for leading a research foundation dedicated to advancing endometrial cancer understanding and treatment.

Dana Mathews - Digital Strategy & Patient Advocacy
Dana Mathews was diagnosed in 2023 with stage 3C2 endometrial carcinosarcoma and a BRCA1 mutation after years of experiencing symptoms that were overlooked or normalized—an all-too-common reality in gynecologic healthcare. Her story underscores the urgent need to address gaps in awareness, delayed diagnoses, and disparities in care that continue to put lives at risk.
As a board member and patient advocate, Dana is committed to advancing education, outreach, and equity in endometrial cancer care. She works to amplify patient voices, strengthen support for survivors, and drive meaningful change through advocacy.
With more than a decade of experience in strategic marketing and nonprofit communications, Dana brings a deep commitment to ECRF. She leverages her skills to lead mission-driven outreach that raises awareness, builds connections, and inspires action.

Naomi Aziz - Patient Advocacy & Engagement Lead
Naomi Aziz is a stage 4 endometrial cancer survivor who was diagnosed at age 27 in 2018 after a year-long delayed diagnosis that deeply impacted her healthcare journey. After undergoing more than six years of treatment—including surgeries, chemotherapy, clinical trials, and immunotherapy—she now channels her experience into advocating for earlier detection, improved healthcare access, and more equitable outcomes for young adult patients and communities historically overlooked in cancer care.
Naomi is especially passionate about supporting fellow survivors, caregivers, and patients as they navigate the emotional, physical, and systemic challenges that come with a cancer journey. With over nine years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, she brings expertise in digital campaigns, donor engagement, and event planning. She leads patient advocacy initiatives, builds strategic partnerships, fosters community engagement, and strengthens the brand presence at ECRF.

Amy Goldman - Board Member

Amy S. Goldman has a long history of service and leadership in statewide and national nonprofits, including co-executive director of the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University, Pennsylvania's University Center of Excellence in Disability, chair of the National Council of State Boards of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and currently Past-President of the United States Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia. She is a survivor of uterine (endometrial) cancer.

Jeanne Pasha - Board Member

Jeanne T. Pasha brings over three decades of marketing research, business development, and entrepreneurial expertise to her role as a board member. As the Founder and Owner of Worldwide Authentications, she has demonstrated her ability to build successful businesses from the ground up while fostering strong relationships with clients and government agencies. Her extensive background includes serving as Vice President for Marketing Research at Woelfel Research, Inc. for twenty years, where she specialized in data analysis, questionnaire development, and providing strategic insights to drive business decisions.
She is passionate about supporting endometrial cancer research and awareness because it represents one of the fastest-growing cancers, yet remains severely underfunded and under-researched. Jeanne brings her dedication to excellence, strong communication skills, and proven track record of building meaningful partnerships to support the organization's mission of advancing endometrial cancer research and patient advocacy.

Gottfried Konecny MD - Scientific Advisor
Gynecologic Medical Oncologist, Professor
UCLA Health, University of California, Los Angeles
Dr. Gottfried Konecny is a Gynecologic Medical Oncologist and Professor at UCLA Health. He is also a Scientific Advisor. He translates research into novel treatment approaches for gynecologic cancers, treating patients based on the genetic alterations of their tumors. Dr. Konecny leads gynecologic oncology in the Department of Medicine at UCLA. He received his medical degree and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Munich, Germany. He conducted postdoctoral studies in Dennis J. Slamon's lab, contributing to the development of breast cancer drugs like trastuzumab and lapatinib. He completed a gynecologic oncology fellowship at Mayo Clinic and was recruited back to UCLA in 2007 to lead a lab for preclinical drug and clinical trial development in gynecologic malignancies.
